Shouxian No. 1 Middle School was founded in the second year of Tianqi in the Ming Dynasty (AD 1622). It was originally named "Xunli Academy". After that, the school was renamed several times and was renamed Shouxian No. Shouxian No. 1 Middle School covers an area of 264 acres and has a building area of 140,000 square meters; it has 86 teaching classes and more than 4,000 students; it has more than 340 in-service faculty members, including 1 national model teacher and 1 national outstanding teacher. There are 2 excellent teachers and 2 special teachers. Shouxian No. 1 Middle School is a key middle school in Huainan and a model high school in Anhui Province.

The glass daylighting and shading project of Shouxian No.1 Middle School was undertaken by Hunan Zhibo from the drawing scheme to the supply and installation. According to the design of the daylighting roof and site conditions, it was divided into 28 sets of FTS ceiling curtains. The construction of the project has been completed.
